Leave behind your yesterday

 This was very hard for me,I had so many chains of pain & heartache that I didn't know how to let go until I met Jesus & took Him at His Word,that He is here & all I have to do is ask & believe.Well at first it was very hard to believe for what I didn't see.Little by little Jesus was giving me peace at first I didn't see any results,but it was there.He answered my prayer from the moment I prayed.Day by day,year by year,He brought healing & peace to my heart.I still have a few chains,for when I hear of a child being raped or beaten,it brings back the pain,but then I pray through my tears & me is left behind & my tears are now for this child,my prayers going up to God for all the children in this world..So I see my pains of yesterday as a blessing,for now I can see & feel the pain of these children & know how to pray for them with real feeling.

LEAVE BEHIND YOUR YESTERDAY

The chains that have held you
For many many years.
The ones that caused your heartache
Caused all your pain & fears.

These chains can be broken
From all your yesterdays.
All your sins forgiven
For your lost and evil ways.

Just open up your heart and see
How Jesus came to set you free.
Believe it's true and you shall gain
A lot more hope,love and a lot less pain.

He'll take these chains one by one
And break them off with each prayer.
You'll feel the burdens drift away
No longer the pain to much to bare.

For you see,He's standing at the door
Knocking,knocking,calling out your name.
Just go now and open the door
And soon you'll see your not the same.

Although the pain,you still see
Your prayers and praise have set you free.
Because you believed what His Word had to say
You can now leave behind your yesterday.
